Prayer Request

Yesterday, I found out that my friend from High School died in a car crash. He went to Cornell but had gone to NYU for a year and was visiting a friend in Missouri. There are a few Ithaca students and I'm sure a lot of Cornell students who have been affected by it and he also had a sister in high school. Thanks for the prayers.

I found out about another fire that happened recently, in which the family lost two younger boys because they could not get them out of the house in time.  Please pray for the family and those who know them.

My high school has suffered from the loss of at least one student for the past 5 years or so. This year, a student died towards the end of the summer and a recent graduate died on Monday night in a car crash. He was in my class and some of my friends were pretty close to him. I was just hoping you guys could pray for his family and everyone who has been affected by his death, especially considering all of the other losses we have experienced lately.

A house fairly close to mine was on fire yesterday very early in the morning.  As far as I know, everyone got out safely, but prayers for their family.

So it has been a while since I posted, but please pray for my grandfather as his days are continually numbered. Also, pray for Chelsie's friend who's mother was killed in a hit and run while jogging this morning. Also, if you could pray for my sisters friends Alexa and Gina's whos mom passed away on new years eve from a heart attack so pray for their family please.

My friend's dad suffered brain damage a while ago, and we saw his wife today who said he is slowly getting better, but it's been rough and he'll never be the same as he used to be.  She asked for prayers for their family.  The circumstances under which we saw here were kind of unusual though; I was supposed to have blood work done yesterday (everything's fine, they just want to check some stuff), but they were closed yesterday due to a holiday party.  So, to my mother's dismay, we had to go back today, which is when we saw my friend's mom.  God's timing is just so perfect that it really blows me away; we probably wouldn't have seen her yesterday if the lab would've been open, and if we would have gotten there at a different time, even within a matter of minutes, we would have missed her.  It's so cool how things like that work out.

I hope everyone had a great holiday and is enjoying their break.
I just have 2 things that I was really hoping you guys could pray for.
First, my dad has been having health problems. My parents are divorced so I don't know him all that well and I really don't know what's wrong other than he can't really eat and he put himself on the liver transplant list at a local hospital. He doesn't know the Lord and that's my biggest concern in all of it. I've always had a lot of trouble with witnessing to my family and I very rarely talk to or see my dad, so it would be awesome to have some extra prayers for his health and for my witness to my family, especially my dad.
The second thing is my step sister got into a car accident today. She is only hurt a little bit and thankfully her son wasn't in the car when it happened, but the car is smashed and she didn't have insurance, so that has caused just a bunch of other issues.
Thanks for your prayers and enjoy the rest of your break. I can't wait to catch up with everyone when we get back.
